The elusive sound & careful TB for high star-level eventing or pure SJ.
6yo flashy chestnut, won & placed in show jumping comps up to 1m, trained 110cm + tracks, single fences up to 1.30m showing scope & a fabulous back end.
Beautiful ride on the flat, consistent in the dressage competition ring. One of the nicest mouths I’ve had in a horse and he makes a very attractive shape. Ready to add some implusion for super quality marks.
Competed in 80cm eventing, training xc higher.
This horse has done all the above barefoot - excellent feet which was my priority in purchasing him, along with pre-purchase spine X-rays showing excellent space. He is sound & capable of high level competition. Whilst obviously still relatively green to predict such a future, I can see him being in the top 5 after dressage at FEI level eventing, with excellent odds of clear show jumping at 4* level, with his XC going as far as his rider’s skill & training produces. (I’ve competed 4* so have some idea of what feel is required).
He allows his rider to use their leg in all phases without being hot or too forward, and listens well to half halts. Snaffle all phases, no gadgets or back boots yet required.
Just over 16hh, chunky build. Great clean legs.
Self loads on float, good with all vet care.

However this is a horse for the experienced TB lovers - when relaxed he’s completely divine in his temperament, when anxious he can get overwhelmed then reactive so will require leadership & strategies to manage this. He would suit a capable confident rider looking for a future top performance horse with all the hardest work already done.
This special horse is only for sale as a recent cancer diagnosis means I’ll be limited in riding this year, and goals adjusted to fun over ambition whilst in recovery. Price reasonable & firm.
