There are still a couple of unconfirmed spots in the Good Horsemanship - Ross Jacobs clinic at Kookaburra Park Equestrian Centre this Saturday and Sunday. It's a fantastic weekend and he's only here a couple of times each year; grab a spot if you can!

KYNETON, VICTORIA - HORSEMANSHIP CLINIC

There are a couple of riding positions available for the weekend clinic to be held at Kookaburra Park Equestrian Centre, Kyneton Victoria, Australia. It will be held March 29-30.

This will be only my second visit to Kookaburra Park Equestrian Centre and if the first time is any indication, this clinic will be super fun and interesting. Contact Jason Halls for information and bookings.

If you're looking for something to do this weekend why not come spend a day with my good friend Ross Jacobs. I guarantee you will go home with a new outlook on 'Good' horsemanship.

Day 47

We have jumped forward a few weeks. I haven't had anyone around to take videos for me so I decided to purchase a Pivo (camera mate) so I could video of all of my sessions with Rumba. The only down side to this is that there is a lot of footage to go through to find small bits to share, which can be quite time consuming, but I'll do my best to share as much as I can.
In this video I'm working Rumba with the flag. Introducing a horse to the flag can be quite traumatic for the him/her and if done poorly can leave lasting damage to them emotionally. Rumba was terrified of the flag when I first introduced it, she would panic at the sight of it and flee at any movement it made. It didn't however take her long to realise that she was able to control the flag and accept it being around her. In the video you will see that she is still bothered by it but is able to maintain her focus on me and not let the worry from the flag consume her thoughts.
