We’ve had such a busy weekend. Now to get ourselves organised for next weekends Animal Expo!

Best catnip toys? The cats agree! 🐈
We absolutely love the Yeowww brand of toys. They’re filled with 100% catnip - no stuffing!
Stronger smell than most catnip toys on the market.

We also have good range of enrichment focused cat toys, including puzzles! 🧩

At Whisker & Roots we believe cats deserve the same exciting enrichment opportunities as dogs. That’s why we carefully source interactive toys and activities that challenge, entertain and inspire.

If a dog can enjoy it, chances are a cat can master it. 😉

We have some news! 🚨
With the growing community of pet lovers visiting our store and bringing their pups in to the Zen Den, it’s become clear that we’ve created something unique and fun and we wish to lean into it!

We are slowly decreasing our wellness and supplement range and increasing our treat and enrichment product range 🦴
We will have new and exciting things to offer! 🐾
And perhaps a pop up Zen Den again in the future? ☺️

We love the direction the business is going, and it’s all thanks to you! I’m excited to continue to bring new and exciting products and services to our local pet community ❤️

We’ve had so many new followers this week! It’s probably time to do a little introduction:

Our business is proudly family run 🥰

Emily has dabbled in the pet industry for coming up two decades! From catteries to aquariums, rescue to retail, dog walking to pet sitting!
With a keen interest in pet enrichment and emotional wellbeing of pets, you’ll be sure to have interesting conversation when you’re in the store ☺️

While Emily is the face you’ll usually see in the shop, The Zen Den and the events we attend wouldnt run as smoothly without Brandon’s support. From towing trailers and handling the heavy lifting to enduring the endless stream of stories of cats and dogs from a day in the shop! 💪

Maisie happily tags along most days to the shop, her most favourite part is meeting all the dogs that come in and helping set up the Zen Den She also enjoys making up enrichment games at home for her dog Basil! 🐶

Whisker & Roots and the Zen Den wouldn’t be possible without the support and encouragement of our friends, family and growing community of passionate pet parents. 🐾
