Update:
Waiting to hear back from the internal medicine specialist. Daphne has improved slightly, but still can't walk and won't eat.
Based on what the internal medicine specialist says, will determine what happens with little duck.
We are willing to do anything for her, but we don't want her to suffer 💔

If you can help contribute to Daphne's vet bills, I would be eternally grateful. I haven't been having the best time lately, dealing with health issues of my own, meaning I haven't been able to work much. I have slowly started back but funds are still an issue and, I hate to admit it, the mental health is on the decline 😢 I'm always the first to donate to whoever needs help, and am so appreciative when others can do the same for me 💖 even $2 is helping Daphne 💕

Unfortunately, after nearly 3 weeks of being okay, Daphne has been admitted back to emergency for the night.
She woke up this morning not able to walk, constantly falling over and staggering, and when we picked her up, she would lift her right leg in the air and throw her head back. She also vomited.
The vets don't know if it was a stroke, vestibular disease, or something more sinister. Whatever it is is affecting her brain stem or a central part of her brain.

She is going to be monitored for seizures and is having more blood tests to rule out anything else. Her internal medicine specialist will see her tomorrow.

We're worried that this is the end. But we don't want Daphne to suffer after everything she has been through. The vet was also talking about quality of life 💔

I've still been trying to find a job, applying for everything that I can, but nothing. I've had another ulcer appear on my ankle, which has made the last 6 weeks difficult to walk and very painful. So I had to stop my cattery job and look for a job where I can mostly sit.
So money is adding another stress to an already stressful time. I've been trying to sell off my possessions so I can support Daphne and her care

Although no longer grooming, I still offer house visits and some daycare (mostly evenings) for all pets.
