Unfortunately due to work commitments and my other hobbies I don’t have time to maintain longhairs and show them anymore. It’s a really hard decision but I think it would be best for me to offer my last breeding pairs and youngstock to somewhere they won’t be wasted. I won’t be able to get pictures until next week sometime however the youngstock is all pictured below after this and i have screenshots of the older stock when younger and shown.

Pair 1
Coronet boar - tri - born 1/9/25
Texel sow - gold/lilac - born 16/5/25

Trio 2
Sheltie boar - tri - born 5/6/23 (dad of the all the babies born this year except gold/lilac texel sow)
Merino sow - lemon agouti and buff - born 21/12/24 mum of the September litter with this boar
Texel sow - black with tiny amount of gold 5/6/23 (mum to gold/lilac sow)

It’s been a busy year and no showing due to having nothing in coat. But we had this cutie patootie litter born and fingers crossed we can keep them in coat for the December show. 1 coronet boar, 1 coronet sow and 1 sheltie sow. I think it may be one of the prettiest litter I have had in a while.

And just like that Kamlyn Daisy’s show career is over because she thought her chops and side might be tasty. Last 2 pics are from Sunday at the show. 😭 that’s it for us as we have no more pedigree to show. Isla is very disappointed.

We attended the Sunshine Coast show today. Isla debuted entering pedigree show with her baby merino Kamlyn Daisy.
Isla received best junior exhibitor and reserve of breed with Daisy. Isla also received the judges encouragement work for doing a good job presenting her.
We also showed Samantha and Elizabeth in pets.
Samantha (sheltie) got second condition sow and third heaviest Guinea pig. Both came last in quickest cruncher as they operate on slow time.
