✨ Throwback to 10 years ago today… dirt, dreams, and the first concrete was about to be poured to bring this vision to life.

What many of you may not know is that this all started because of one very special boy — Zip. 🐾 He was a rescue dog I adopted from the Darwin RSPCA, and when I needed to board him, I couldn’t find anywhere that felt good enough. That’s when the spark was lit — if I couldn’t find a place I trusted for him, I would build it. Not just for Zip, but for every pet owner out there who felt the same way. I was working in a bank in Darwin, I bought this property side unseen, got a personal loan, and quit my job and move back to Gympie to start the process with council. I was so naïve and had no idea how hard it was going to be, but sometimes that works in your favour.

Fast forward a decade, and here we are — a boarding kennels and cattery built on love, care, and trust. None of this would have been possible without Zip, without our amazing customers who’ve supported us, and without the incredible team who’ve helped bring this dream to life. 💛

A very special thank you to Kirsty, our long-term manager, who has poured her heart and soul into this place alongside me. b’ARK simply wouldn’t be what it is today without her dedication and passion. And to Chloe, our wonderful assistant manager, who looks up to Kirsty and is following strongly in her footsteps — you both make me so proud and grateful every single day. 🐾✨

From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for being part of this journey. Here’s to the next 10 years of wagging tails, happy paws, and the magic that started with one very special rescue pup.

The pups have just scored some brand-new outdoor play equipment while we renovate their indoor play rooms and let’s just say, the tails have not stopped wagging! 🐶💨

More climbing, more jumping, more zoomies, and whole lot more fun. 🐾☀️
We love seeing their little faces light up when they explore something new.

🌟 Exciting Updates from b’ARK & Strathpaws! 🌟

After a challenging 9 weeks of phone and internet issues, we’re finally back up and running smoothly 🎉. Thank you all for your patience – we’re so sorry for the inconvenience, and we’re hopeful it’s smooth sailing from here on!

🐾 Strathpaws Grand Opening
We’re thrilled to officially announce the opening of Strathpaws Doggy Care, Dog Bath & LaundroMutt on the 8th of September!

🚐 New K9 Taxi
Strathpaws now has a K9 Taxi for pick-up and drop-off services, plus safe transport for our furry guests between Strathpaws and their holiday stays at b’ARK.

🐕 b’ARK Doggy Daycare Upgrades
Our daycare playrooms are getting a full renovation! Don’t worry – daycare is still running with a temporary play area, and of course the dogs still enjoy our big outdoor play and splash pool.

☂️ New Waiting Area
We’ve improved our outdoor entry and waiting area with extra shade and rain protection for your comfort.
