A little about Vorwerks:-

🐔 They are considered a rare breed
🐔 They lay around 170 white & cream eggs per year
🐔 They are a dual purpose bird, meaning the are used for both egg laying and for their meat
🐔 They have a distinctive black and gold plumage, a single comb and white earlobes.
🐔 They are a hardy, adaptable bird, with an economical appetite.
🐔 They are alert & active birds, and are not particularly broody
🐔 Vorwerk (pronounced Foor Verk), originated in Germany. They share their name with a German Vaccum Cleaner Company, making them the only chicken that shares their name with a household appliance

A little about Gold Laced Wyandottes:-

🐔 Known for their stunning "Laced" feathering, which is gold-brown in colour with black lacing around the edges
🐔 They lay around 200 eggs per year
🐔 They are a dual purpose bird, meaning the are used for both egg laying and for their meat
🐔 They are a hardy and independent breed of chicken, with a rounded body and have a rose comb
🐔 The hens make excellent mothers
