🚧ROAD WORKS TO START AS OF NEXT WEEK🚧

~ Please allow additional time to arrive to your appointment on time😁
~ Please note there will be no access Via Station Road onto Bent Street 🚗

⚠️ A range of upgrade works are set to begin soon at the Station Road and Mellor Street intersections in Gympie.

Stormwater drainage upgrades will kick these works off and crews aim to have the project complete in October, weather and site conditions permitting.

Upon completion, locals can expect improved road and pedestrian safety at the following intersections:

🛣️ Station Road / Tozer Street / Tozer Lane
🛣️ Mellor Street / Chapple Street / Lady Mary Terrace

With funding gained through the Australian Government’s Black Spot Program, complementary funding is being funded through the Queensland Government’s Transport Infrastructure Development Scheme (TIDS) and additional funding from Gympie Regional Council.

Look who wanted to help us out on Reception!! 🤪☺️🐶🥹

Little Todd was in last week for his yearly vaccination and whilst his siblings got there’s he insisted we gave him cuddles and in return he helped us out at reception 🫶🏼🐶🥰

As you can tell we can and will never say no to a cuddle… 🤷🏼‍♀️🐶🥰

IMPORTANT NEWS ABOUT MICROCHIPS

We have had unconfirmed news that Home Safe ID, who are a microchipping company, have closed down (or are closing down).

If your dog/pets are registered with them you may need to change to another company, as they will no longer be able to see your details when scanned if your pets are lost etc.

Now is a good time to check where your pet's chip details are held or get your pet microchipped.

To find out where your chip details are held you can go to www.petaddress.com.au.

You can go online to change to either Central Animal Records (CAR) for a fee of $12 or to AAR Australasia Animal Registry.

Seeing greyhound puppies isn’t something we get to see often (for many of us it was a first), so this day was super exciting for all of us!!! 😆☺️❤️🐶🫶🏼

At the end of January we said farewell to our amazing receptionist Steph. Bent st vets had the pleasure of having Steph as one of our head receptionists for nearly 7 Years. She will be truly missed by all. We wish her all the happiness to her new beginnings ❤️🥰
