Horrible weather has helped settle these boys down. They where scared of everything at the start even my rain coat 😅 such a cool pair of boys that someone will really enjoy one day like I have enjoyed working with them.

So many ways to have them soft and not freak out in odd situations. This one I love to teach by leading off pressure with different directions. Helps with hobble training and prevention of injury if they become trapped. This guy has not been saddled but had 4 full weeks of ground work and getting close to being ready to saddle. Always got to have random objects too.

This guy really picked up well on how to stand still and relaxed. He has had many sessions where he doesn't think to pull back and very good to come off pressure. But he is buddy sour. Every time he would get tired up he would paww till the ground was gone and go from side to side rubbing. I decided to work on his tying today and every time he would relax I would go untie him walk him around then bring him back. Each time getting longer and longer. In the end he wanted to stand and relax without looking and carrying on for his mates. He had his focus on me instead. I did this in many different areas around the place all with the same routine. I even went in and cleaned a stable while he chilled for the first time ever.

I said goodbye to this handsome man on Wednesday and he headed for Victoria 😍 he has arrived and they are so happy with him. I'm so happy with what he is going to do in life 💓 a few snaps while I spent the day with him before he left. I hate saying goodbye but get so excited to see them go on to be amazing mounts for people.
