THE BEST MEDICINE 🐾

Today I have an awful headache & wondered what the puppies would do if I just lay on the floor to rest for 5 minutes….

They all jumped into action and looked after me!
I’m sure a few were trying chest compressions, there was face licking, hair chewing and the swift removal of my glasses 👓 😂

Such caring little souls, I do think they were concerned about where dinner was going to come from 😍

Sugar & Spice puppies are somehow 7 weeks old today 🥹

So much to love about these puppies, they are confident, curious and crazy cute!

Together with their cousin Poppy they have been so much fun and I have loved every moment with them all.

PHOTO DAY 🐾📸

Keeping it real 👌🏼

Somedays are easier than others to get photos in a prop setting.

I just let them do as they please and usually we get a pretty good set of photos each week.

This shows how they like to explore and check the set before they go into model mode!

Kevin seems to be head of security this week and he checked out everything before his pics 🖤

INDEPENDENT PUPPIES 🐾

Independent puppy play is essential for building your dog’s confidence and preventing separation anxiety.

It involves teaching your pup to entertain themselves with toys or puzzles & getting used to supervised confinement areas, ensuring they are comfortable and relaxed even when you aren't actively engaging with them.

While I am there I am not engaging with them or entertaining them, they are either playing in groups or finding a toy and playing happily on their own.

Kevin, Poppy & Elmo had so much fun with their chosen toy today

CHEWSDAY FUN & GAMES 🐾

Once a week I have to dismantle their playground so the lawn man can do his job - that was today 🤯

Each time I rebuild it I make it a little different and add something new most days just to keep them exploring & on their toe beans 🐾

Nothing so far has phased them?

New two step added today and they went straight to it & showed me how easy it was!!

Chewing the swing rope was a big hit today I am guessing their gums are tender.

RECHARGE 🪫••••••🔋

Q: Do they all sleep at the same time?

A: Mostly but not always

When one puppy needs five minutes more on charge….

Mercedes was enjoying her nap yesterday while the others woke as soon as I removed the pen walls.

Once she was fully recharged she was ready to rumble 😂😂

Luckily I used energizer batteries in Poppy Lee & she had enough left to join Mercedes for chasing fun!

Puppy Cuddle Time 🐾💛

Each day after I clean the puppy pen, I handpick a puppy for one on one time.

We snuggle until they fall asleep, while the others find their own space outside the pen to settle down.

Today the open crate was the preferred choice for the other puppies' nap in a group while Genavive enjoyed her individual cuddle session and Ed's music.
