Love dogs? Looking for a career change? Thinking of moving into the animal industry but don’t know where to start? Local to the Geelong or Bellarine areas? Consider training with the International Grooming Academy in 2025!

We are offering an early bird discount for our course commencing January 20th 2025. With multiple award winning teachers and a state of the art salon, you’ll have the best tools and techniques at your disposal.

Can’t commit to a full 6 weeks? We have flexible options starting from as little as 1 day all the way through to 24 days where you’ll tick off each box along the way to certification!

Want to be qualified not just certified? With grooming becoming more standardised there’s a big push for qualified groomers. This means a Certificate III that’s nationally recognised not just a certificate of attendance of training. We partner with Heiniger Academy so our students can complete their Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Dog Grooming) at their own pace.

Get in early to reserve your spot as places are limited. 20% off courses booked prior to November 30th 2025.

Congratulations to our latest student graduate Lauren 🥳 Lauren completed 10 days with us and is now prepared to enter the industry as a bather or trainee groomers assistant. Lauren loved her time so much that’s she’s now enrolled for the Heiniger Certificate III in Animal Care (Pet Grooming) and is now on her way to being a fully qualified Dog Groomer. We look forward to having Lauren back with us in 2025.

A quick reminder that our private training has very limited options for 2024 and the beginning to 2025 so please contact as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Our places are also filling fast with almost 50% reserved spots in our January 2025 group course.

And a big welcome to our latest students Bec, Rob, Lauren & Lenny. Each completing their training differently, varying from 5 days of training through to 5 weeks of training. Here at the International Grooming Academy we are very pleased to be able to offer such flexibility. We understand that not everyone can take such large blocks away from work or life commitments and we are happy to keep our students ticking off that Certificate III framework at their own pace.

Private places are strictly limited for 2024 with only a couple of weeks of placement positions left. We have a week available in January as well before jumping straight into our first group course of the year January 20th 2025
