Therapy Dog Teams required 2025. Do you own a well-mannered dog, reside in South Australia, and would love to volunteer your time (1½ hours weekly, fortnightly or monthly) visiting nursing homes, hospitals, community etc.
We are currently taking new applications and memberships.
Volunteer membership gives you access to the most comprehensive learning programs and insurance, the broadest range of professional development events, full-time support staff, national and local representation, and much more.

We are pleased to announce we are now providing Therapy Dog services at Moonta, meet our new team Ryder and Tyla sharing the love at Moonta Health & Aged Care Services.

Here are Madison and Noah enjoying some time with Pablo the dog. Children staying at the house are able to access Pet Therapy weekly thanks to Platinum Restaurant Services who will be once again supporting this program again in 2018!

Logan was super pleased to meet one of our visiting Pet Therapy poodles this week. We love the way these dogs have made themselves 'at home' and make everyone staying at Ronald McDonald House feel at ease (small and big people).

Carter (18 months) enjoyed playing ball and tug of war games with Pablo the Spoodle at yesterday's Pet Therapy session. Carter has two dogs at home in Mount Gambier, so he was super pleased to be able to play with Pablo whilst he's away from his own pets.

Official first day supporting Ronald McDonald House, clyde, cadbury and chi chi had a wonderful visit, lots of snuggles and fun was had by all. Thank you to the staff, and families for making us feel so welcome.

Cuteness alert! Clyde, Cadbury (giant poodles) and Chi Chi (chihuahua) visited the House to give cuddles to families as part of our inaugural pet therapy session, donated by Platinum Restaurant Services with services provided by Therapeutic Dog Services Incorporated. We can’t wait to welcome these VID’s (very important dogs) back next week!
