Our local groomers are the best! Ari had the time of her life getting her first haircut today! 🥹🤍

We know all of our local families are already regulars at Fluffy & Co. Professional Pet Grooming, but if you’re around Goulburn, we honestly cannot recommend them enough!

Ari the Gorgeous Groodle
Miss Ari came in today for her very first big girl haircut – and what a superstar she was! Curious about every part of the grooming process, she took it all in her stride and made us so proud. She’s still a puppy, but already such a well-mannered little lady (with just the right amount of cheeky energy!).

When she wasn’t being pampered, Ari had the best time zooming around the run and splashing in the water bowl – classic Groodle mischief!

Ari is one of the many stunning pups we’ve had the pleasure of grooming from the fabulous Winter Wonderland Groodles – we’re always excited to meet their beautiful, well-raised dogs.

Thanks for visiting us, Ari – we can’t wait to see you again! 🐾🥰🫶🏻

⚠️ An important notice for our local families⚠️

Ensure you’re up to date with vaccinations!

If your dog shows any of the following symptoms, call your local vet IMMEDIATELY (and make sure you tell them the symptoms over the phone, so that they can ensure the safety of other animals in their clinics).

⚠️Lethargy
⚠️Loss of appetite
⚠️Vomiting
⚠️Severe, often bloody, diarrhea
⚠️Abdominal pain and bloating
⚠️Fever or low body temperature (hypothermia)

❗️Remember TIME IS CRITICAL for Parvovirus treatment❗️

ATTENTION GOULBURN PET OWNERS!
With confirmed cases of Parvovirus in the area, it is more important than ever to ensure your dog is up to date with their vaccinations. Young dogs, dogs with lapsed vaccinations or unvaccinated dogs are most at risk. If you are unsure if your dog is up to date with their vaccinations please call us for advice.
Parvovirus is highly contagious and can even be fatal. Signs of parvovirus can include, vomiting, diarrhoea (with or without blood) and lethargy. If your dog has any of these signs or you think your dog has parvovirus they need immediate veterinary treatment. As it is highly contagious we ask that on arrival you wait in the car park and one of our friendly nurses will be out to assist you.

It’s always such an honour for us to have the opportunity share our love for our dogs with all of our new and returning families, so that they can also enjoy the same love with their newest family members. It’s absolutely the best and makes our hearts so filled with love & happiness 🥹

Following a well structured routine will ensure your puppy feels safe, secure and what is expected of them. Create a schedule and stick to it! 📋📝

The first few weeks with your new puppy are important to establish good behaviours. A well balanced daily schedule makes your puppy’s world more predictable. When they know what’s coming up next, they instinctively relax more.
By doing this, not only does it provide benefits for your puppy, but your entire family.

The sooner you implement a good routine, the sooner you’ll get to enjoy it’s endless benefits!

When considering developing your puppy’s routine, be sure to consider the following:
✅ Feeding routine
✅ Toileting routine
✅ Playtime (this is a good opportunity to teach your puppy good manners!)
✅ Rest time
✅ Bedtime routine

One significant reason for puppy nipping is teething. Imagine experiencing the discomfort of tiny, sharp teeth pushing through your gums – it's not a pleasant sensation. As responsible puppy parents, we can help our pups through this challenging phase by providing suitable chew toys. These toys not only soothe their discomfort but also keep your fingers out of harm's way. Providing your puppy with the right toys is a crucial part of their development.

Remember, each puppy is unique, and it may take some time to see progress. Stay patient, consistent, and supportive in guiding your puppy towards good behaviour.

5️⃣ WEEKS OLD!! 🐾

Boy oh boy, they’re growing up quick! 🥹 This week they’ve enjoyed this beautiful spring weather playing outside in the sun everyday! ☀️

They’ve met & befriended our pet chickens 🐓(although we think the chickens are more interested in pinching food out of their bowls than they are the puppies 🙈).

Their little teeth have almost all come through and they’ve discovered the joys of chewing on all their toys!
