Im going to organise a Canicross event in the next few months. Roughly the end of September. Is anyone interested? If you're not sure what Canicross is, it is a mixture of Canine and Cross country running. There is a lot on YouTube about it. I have a 2km track all marked out with a few obstacles and ready to go. Training sessions will be conducted prior to the event. Please comment below if it does interest you.

Yesterday we said goodbye to Lola who is heading to the bright lights of Sydney with her owner. A beautiful natured Rottweiler at only 12 months of age is skilled in obedience, tracking and bite work. We will miss you Lola.

Congratulations to all participants who completed Stage 1 of the QLD K9 Academy Operational Tracking Course on Saturday and received their certificates!

The test involved a 10 minute old, 400 metre unknown track with an unknown person in a rural setting.

Well done to all dogs and their handlers! 🐾
