Escaping yet another frosty winter in Goolma, and headed for Queensland. Kicked off with a beautiful week in my favourite seaside village for chilling out, while being far from chilly! From Moore Park Beach, we then popped up to Rockhampton for a Scent Work trial before heading inland 🐾😎🐾

Super excited! Jack has achieved his Exterior element title, having just competed at Newcastle & Oxley Scent Work Trials, finishing his quals with a 2nd place in Master Exterior 🐾🥳🐾
Not to be outshone, Dayzee picked up two 2nd places, one in Excellent Containers and the other in Excellent Exterior 🥈🥈
Clever kids!! 😍
Thanks so much to Lil & Annette for such a fun trip away. And we all came away winners 😎

Lovely two night camp at Chaffey Dam near Nundle. Entered the Scent Work trial held by Oxley Dog Club at Tamworth and very happy with Jack qualifying in both Excellent Interiors and Excellent Vehicles. Even more impressive though was Dayzee being handled by Kerry and qualifying in Excellent Vehicles! Woo hoo!! 🐾🤩🐾

Thrilled to bits with Jack obtaining his first qualification in Master Exterior, and 1st place!! 🐾🤩🐾 And being such a clever boy, he also obtained 1st place in his other event of Advanced Containers 😁
Dayzee also did a great job of attaining 3rd place in Excellent Exterior 🐾😍🐾
Many thanks to Lil for having me bunk down in the camper. And also very grateful to Oxley Dog Training Club for holding such regular Scent Work trials, along with Equine Soap Co. for such great prizes 😊

With many thanks to a great mate in the Blue Mtns, for accommodating Jack & I, so we could try out a Scent Work trial in Sydney. Very happy with Jack picking up a couple of quals (Excellent Interiors & Excellent Containers) at Castle Hill, but more importantly, I got to catch up with Lilian and celebrate the 6th birthday of Jack & Dayzee's son Indi 🐾🥳🐾

Big week of Scent Work trialling! 😎
Across two trials held by Oxley (at Tamworth) & Grafton (at Glenreagh), with 10 entries, Jack & Dayzee obtained 8 qualifications between them, including two 2nd places & a 3rd place 🤩 And they got to catch up with their son Indi again 😁

As much as I think they're both little champs, Jack certainly shined this week 🐾🤩🐾
At Oxley Dog Club's Scent Work trial, he had two entries, achieved 1st place in both (Excellent Exterior & Advanced Containers) and finalised his qualifications for his Advanced title. Clever boy!
Dayzee also did well, qualifying in her only event of Excellent Containers 🐾😍🐾

A couple of short but sweet trips away over the last week.
Our first scent work trial for the year was held by Oxley Dog Training Club, at Tamworth. Really stoked with Dayzee picking up 3rd place for her first crack at Excellent Interior 🐾🥉🐾 Jack achieved a 2nd place in Advanced Interior, along with a qual in Advanced Vehicle 😍
The trial just happened to be during the week of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, so it was a great opportunity to check it out.
Then got home just in time to head off again for the Australia Day long weekend to camp at Windeyer, and include a visit to the historic town of Sofala 🇦🇺

As much as we love our farm Denerry Vale, we've decided to downsize to sandier pastures. Jack & Dayzee are very much looking forward to new beach adventures 🐾😎🐾
