Mushu, our resident Bearded Dragon, has started curling up in her favourite little hidey hole as she begins her winter brumation.

Brumation is a natural period of slowed activity that reptiles go through during the cooler months. Similar to hibernation, they sleep more, eat less, and conserve energy as their bodies adjust to seasonal changes.

So if Mushu seems a little quieter lately, she is simply settling in for her long winter nap.

Our hours will be slightly different over the Kings Birthday weekend.

Sat 6th: Usual hours
Sun 7th: Closed
Mon 8th: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Don't stress, just because we're closed doesn't mean that our guests aren't fed and cared for. It just means that there are no pick-ups or drop-offs on that day.

Our office will not be manned on the public holiday, so please email us through our website or directly to [email protected] should you need to contact us.
