Hi all, I’m available for dressage lessons this coming winter! Get kick started on your training for eventing, dressage showing, or even learn some skills to add to your toolkit for the showjump ring! 14.2hh, 12yr old, English riding pony X, Mare.

Abbey is a very sweet mare with 3 nicely established paces and straight movement. She has done everything from hacking, dressage, show jumping and eventing.
Her current rider has had dressage as their main focus with her successfully competing at Level 2, schooling Level 3. Leg yield, lengthen stride well established and shoulder in, walk to canter etc underway.

Abbey would be a great second or third pony for a confident young rider wanting to do a bit of everything. She is ridden in a snaffle in all 3 phases and has no buck, kick or bite etc. She has a very honest jump and will always give it a go even when you put her in some tricky spots. Dream to float, catch, worm, clip, handle, dentist, shoe (is mostly barefoot), respects tape etc.

She is super fun to take out and is always calm wherever she goes!

As she is a very much loved member of the family, she will only be sold to a knowledgeable A+ home.

When deciding what I would do for my entry I decided why not try ride Xavier with a bag of feed over me (rest assured I made sure that Xavier was desensitised to the bag and was not worried) he was an absolute gem, love this horse to bits!

Aswell as this I think it is a cool way to show New Zealand just how cool is, we constantly forget about the businesses and people that support us, from show sponsors, normal sponsors, friends, family, coaches and everyone else in between. This giveaway is such a cool way to show NZ’ers that we have to support these important people that keep ourselves, our shows and the equine community running (especially after such a crazy year)

I wanted to take some time getting to use my atlas before writing a review on it as I personally believe that being honest about the product I promote is the best thing to do. After taking some time experimenting with the atlas, using it before and after rides, days off, then not using it one day and then using it the next I found out many things.
1. The Atlas helped Xavier become much more relaxed through his head (specifically through his tmj)
2. Using the Atlas before my ride on Xavier almost made him too relaxed however it made him feel extremely loose and relaxed through his body. (This can differ with many horses, some horses Benefit from using the atlas before their rides or after depending on their responses and releases they gain)
After experimenting with using the atlas for a couple of weeks I started to notice that if I used the Atlas after my rides (almost as a recovery) for Xavier the next time I got on him his body and especially head felt very nice and loose (without him feeling too tired and relaxed)

The Atlas serves every horse a different way, that is the best thing about it, I know some horses that benefit from having it before rides and some like Xavier for after their rides. It is a device that can be used in so many ways and I recommend to everyone to look into this product and it’s values and benefits for your horse. Every single horse I have put it on LOVES it!
