Hot Cross Buns are another favourite at this time of year, but did you know they could be dangerous for your pets.

Grapes, sultanas, and raisins – like those found in Hot Cross Buns, can be toxic. Any ingestion of these could result in a life-threatening emergency.

Signs of toxicity include:
• Vomiting
• Diarrhoea
• Lethargy and weakness
• Difficulty standing and walking
• Pain in the abdomen
• Changes in normal urination

If you suspect your pet has eaten grapes, sultanas or raisins, contact your vet or local emergency clinic immediately for medical advice and assistance.

Saturday 23rd March there will be fireworks at Presidents Park as part of the Holi Festival.
Make sure your pets are secure.

** Edited to add - we don't know what time the fireworks are but the event finishes at 9pm so would assume around that time.
