Did you know a fulfilment bowl can be as stimulating as a 45 minute walk? (This is a XL Dog bowl)

On rainy days like today it’s important to keep your dogs busy and not bored. Same goes for extreme heat days. Which is a day like today.

Willow is a very active dog and enjoys training and getting new jobs. Today we extended our Mat training. (New jobs you say?) but things such as working (in her case retrieving), tricks, manners & more.

She also enjoyed her frozen bowl!
Let me know if you want to know what I put in hers! It’s amazing for hot days too!

Meet Willow 🐝 ! The youngest of my K9 Pack.

She is a chocolate Labrador who is nearly 3. Anyone would think she has an endless energy source.

Like most labs, she loves the water, ball 🎾 & her fav human: Dad.

Fun fact: 44.6% of Labradors are black, 27.8% are yellow and 23.8% are chocolate.

Meet Dexter 🐾

Aka Dex, chocolate drop, chonky boi, ridge nose, solid boi. You will see a lot of Dex on this page as he is one from my own K9 pack.

He is now 11.5 years old & he is the definition of ‘oh this dog is perfect, let’s get another’ aka the trap dog. You don’t see many chocolate labs being guide dogs, this is because they are the cheekiest out of the 3 colours. These guys are used commonly for retrieving in duck hunting.

Well not in this case 😍

Most dogs are most trainable within their “growth” stage. Which is between 8-16 weeks. This is when they are most curious and willing to learn new things.

You guessed it! Rouge is a Weimaraner & is still a young dog at 6 years of age.

I have loved spending time with her for the past 4 days, We have focused on mental stimulation as well as walks throughout her time with me. 2-3 x 20 minute daily training sessions on learning 2 new tricks.

Spin & Play Dead ✨🐾 (Videos In comments)

Rouge is a very smart girl
(Maybe a little too smart for her own good), and can now play dead on command. (I guess it helps having your breakfast made for you 🙈).

Can anyone take a guess at what breed she is?

Some Hints:

✨ I am a German dog breed

✨I was originally bred for hunting used by royalty in the early 19th Century for Bears 🐻 , Boars 🐗 & deer 🦌.

✨My main dominant colouring is silver-grey & my closest cousin is the Vizsla 🐕
