🐾 What am I teaching my 13-week-old puppy? 🐾

The puppy stage isn’t just about teaching cute tricks. It’s about building the foundations for a confident, well-mannered dog that you can enjoy for years to come.

At 13 weeks old we’re working on:

🐾 Meet Dozer – our special exception!

As a rule, we don’t take Staffies at our property. They’re a wonderful breed and I’ve owned a beautiful Staffy myself, but unfortunately my own dog has been attacked by several different Staffies over the years and is now too uncomfortable around them for us to safely accept bookings. 💔

Dozer is the one exception. He’s a close friend’s dog and an absolute character! He’s a compact little guy who may have been born with a form of dwarfism, which just adds to his unique charm. 🐶

When Dozer first started with us, he was quite reserved, independent and not overly interested in listening or engaging in training. Fast forward to now, and the transformation has been amazing! His focus has improved, his recall is becoming reliable, and he’s discovered that learning can actually be a lot of fun.

Watching his confidence grow and seeing him enjoy obedience and trick training has been incredibly rewarding. We’re so proud of how far this little guy has come. ❤️
