Gorgeous little Willow.
Willow came in for her 2nd grooming session with me and was such a good girl. She got lots of cuddles in between to make sure she learns being groomed is a positive experience.

Starting early is important.... little Willow was washed and conditioned in green apple shampoo and conditioner. And left smelling amazing and feeling super soft.

I got the pleasure of doing a puppy tidy on this gorgeous girl Bambi. She even fell asleep while getting scissored.

I always suggest to start grooming from a young age to get them used to all the noises, equipment and being handled as these breeds will need to be groomed their whole life. And as you can see little Bambi was not fussed at all or stressed.

My beautiful girl, FREYA!!!!

just a quick post to say I'm back in full swing and grooming again.
I am booking up super quickly this year with my next available appointments at the end of February, so if you haven't already, I suggest you book in.
Those who like a certain day/time, please book a few appointments in advance, or if you like to be organised like most of my regulars book the next 6 months to the year in.

My hours are slightly changing this year due to school drop-off, so my only 2 days for a while that I will be doing early appointments are Mondays and Wednesdays.
I am offering, however, after school appointments on a Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Also, just a few extra important notes;

⭐️ please be no later than 10 minutes late to your appointment as this sets me back, and it's not fair to the following customers.
⭐️ cancelling the day off your appointment will incur a fee of $50. As I can't fill the spot last minute and this is my main source of income.
⭐️ please pick up your dog when given your pick up time, I usually give 30 minutes notice, those who are more then 15 minutes late for pick up will be charged a fee as I am a one on one service, so once again not fair to the other customers.
⭐️ dogs who come in matted will be charged an extra matting fee due to the time and care it takes to remove knots, also not to mention products used.

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. Freya definitely enjoyed her 1st Christmas with our family visiting Sydney.

Just a quick post to let everyone know we are on our way back to the Gold Coast and I will be able to reply to everyone and sort through my up coming bookings for next week when I return to work. I look forward to seeing you all again and your furry friends.

Optimal Pet Styling is now closed.

Thank you all for your continued support this last year, I absolutely love my job and love all of your fur babies.
I will be re opening 6th January. I am taking a well deserved break with my family.

Just a friendly reminder for those of you with appointments this week, traffic is pretty bad this time of the year and I have had quite a few people running late which puts me behind which I don't really have the time for as my bookings are back to back and its not fair on others who are on time and i end up running late, so please allow yourself extra time to get your fur baby to their appointment on time please.

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to one of my long term clients Princess. It was her very last grooming session with me and it was so difficult, this has to be the hardest part of my job as a groomer. I get attached to each and every one of your fur babies and saying goodbye is the hardest part. 💔
I'm forever grateful to have been her groomer.

Just a reminder to please book In for your appointments for the rest of the year as I am booking up very quickly.
I still have space in December but it is limited.
My next available isn't until end of October so if you are after specific days and times it's best to book in now.

I am away next week from 20th to the 24th for school holidays, so will return all msgs and calls when I return.
I am also finishing up on the 20th December and return on 6th January so yes I am taking bookings for January already. 🙂
