I am very happy to say that Purrlazzo Cattery on the Gold Coast stood up excellently against Cyclone Alfred's visit.
All cats holidaying here were extremely calm and relaxed.
I have realised that once inside Purrlazzo Cattery and all doors are closed, it is virtually soundproof. During the worst of the wind and rain, you could barely hear it from inside.
I stay with the cats the whole time. I had a new generator ready, 6 cartons of water, 200 kg of litter, and enough food to feed 100 cats for 100 days. LOL.
We lost power, internet, phone reception, and wifi. The generator took over, and I could run the fridge, fans, lamps, and radio/music.
The cats stayed in their rooms until the power came back on. They didn't seem to mind though, with cozy beds and full bellies, they have all been chilling out, having lots of pats and cuddles in-between their cat-naps.

Pablo has enjoyed 40 days here so far, at Purrlazzo Cattery. He goes home soon, I will miss him!

Pablo has become a very confident boy during his holiday at Purrlazzo Cattery. He is still wary of strangers, but when it is his turn to explore in the adventure playground, he absolutely loves it, especially when I sit outside and play with him.
