Just a little reminder to allow some extra travel time when heading to your grooming appointments 🚗

With school run traffic, tram works and general Gold Coast traffic delays, late arrivals are becoming much more common at the moment.

Even a small delay can have a flow-on effect throughout the day, as every groom is booked within a scheduled time slot. When one appointment runs late, it can impact the timing of the dogs booked afterwards too ✂️🐶

If you think you may be running behind, please send us a message as soon as possible so we can do our best to keep the day running smoothly for all pups booked in 💛

To ensure we can stay on schedule and provide every dog with the time and care they deserve, late arrival fees may apply where appointments are significantly delayed.

I honestly feel so lucky to do what I love every day and to spend it with all your lovely pups (and you!) - it really means more than you probably realise 🫶

✨Cheers to 50.✨

To be honest, I don’t feel 50. Some days I still feel like the girl with a dream, absolutely no idea where life would take me.

Looking back, I’m incredibly grateful.

For my family.
For Steve.
For my kids.
For the friendships that have stood the test of time.
For the PLP team that stand beside me everyday and truly love what they do.
For every client who trusted me with their beloved pooch.
And for Pretty Little Pooches, which started as a dream and became something bigger than I ever imagined.

Life hasn’t always gone to plan. There have been challenges, tears, long days, HARD decisions and moments where I questioned myself.

But there have also been countless moments of joy, laughter, growth and memories that I’ll treasure forever.

As I celebrate this milestone in beautiful Tasmania, I’m feeling less focused on what I’ve achieved and more grateful for the people I’ve shared the journey with.

Here’s to the next chapter.

Still dreaming.
Still learning.
Still grateful.

A little polite reminder for salon visits 💛🐾

When arriving for your appointment, we kindly ask that noise is kept to a minimum where possible.

Some dogs can feel nervous or become overstimulated with sudden noise, and a calm environment helps us keep everything as stress-free as possible for them.

Thank you for helping us create a calm space for every pup 🐶

Having a ball in Tassie so untouched. The penguins were so cute and the wildlife can is so friendly. Lots of seafood - the lobster shack is a must do so yum. Lots of bakeries yum yum yum. Camp life is fun nothing like a good fire to end the day . If you see Bonnie give her a hug from me ✨🐾💕

✨ OFF TO TASMANIA ✨🏕️🐾

Today is the day I’m packed and at the airport I’m officially heading off on a little birthday adventure through Tasmania! 🥂🗺️

But don’t worry… Bonnie & Pixie will be staying behind to supervise the salon and make sure all the pooches still receive plenty of cuddles, love and pampering while I’m away 💕

Caleche and the team will be holding down the fort, and I have complete confidence in them to keep everything running beautifully 🐶✨

Thank you all so much for your continued support of my little dream business. I can’t wait to share some cosy Tassie moments, campervan adventures, penguins, food & birthday celebrations along the way 🤍

with a little camper van adventure around Tasmania with Steve 🫶🏼🏕️

While I’m away, Caleche and the team will be manning the fort at Pretty Little Pooches — and I have absolute confidence in them. Your babies are in the very best hands 🤍🐾

This little trip feels extra special. A chance to celebrate, reset, make memories and come back refreshed and inspired for the next chapter at PLP ✨
