I have an update from the ACT Police about Raptor (Vidarhetzen Delta). He is apparently doing extremely well and is well on his way to operational duties. Shout out to Matt at VonSummer Kennels who developed this guy into an extremely capable dog for his future career.

Vidarhetzen Deimos (Luna/Alf) now 6 months old and 28kg. I may be biased, but look at him! What a great looking dog.

Well, the crates are finally here! They are actually very well made, I am impressed. These are from a second supplier as I was not happy with the quality of the first one. The end cost is about $1000 delivered ( it may vary due to the dollar, but not by much). The only issue is the time to receive them. I have spoken to the supplier who assures me any further orders will not take 12 weeks, but please be aware it could take 12 weeks to get them! The only other issue to be mindful of, the side bars are stowed on the top of the crate when collapsed. This causes a rub, wear mark in the top of the crate. I have attached pictures. This was the same on a different crate from a different supplier. I take it as a common thing, so be aware. If you are after one drop me a message and we can start the process. All crates will need to be paid for prior to ordering.

A QUICK UPDATE ON DANTE, THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO REACHED OUT. DANTE HAS FOUND A NEW OWNER AND IS BEING COLLEXTED THURSDAY.
Due to the tragic circumstances of Dante's ( Luna/Alf puppy) owner suddenly passing away he has come back to me. He has been well raised and is all the things you would expect from a Vidarhetzen puppy. He is 20 weeks old and a very well rounded. If you are interested in him please give me a call for a chat.

Lots of fun with really good people yesterday. Izzy, Krueger and Kalani all had a run at building searches. This is IZZY's 2nd run. She loved it!

Our last week of this course. I think Izzy has a good understanding, I just need to slow her down so she doesn't miss anything. Thanks to Anthea and Sam at Found by the Hound it was really fun.

Mat Summers ( VonSummers Kennels) is running a one day workshop. The venue is at Ipswich and will include building searches for offenders. I will be assisting with the tactical entry and searching side of things ( for the handler). It will also cover fi****ms as part of the entry. Should be fun and something very different for most people. There are still 2 spots available, let me know if you're interested.

Week 5 of our scent training and she has come a long way. I am really happy with her progress.

More of our scent work training. Izzy is doing really well. She is really starting to understand the object and false positives are almost gone. Her indication is becoming more focused. Really happy with how its going.

For something a little different I have been taking Izzy to a noseworks course run by my good friends, Anthea and Sam at found by the hound. This is week three and I think she is progressing well.
