Millie continues to impress me with her taking to the two rein wonderfully. However as Ive said before learn to let go! At one stage today she got a bit confused and locked up a bit. If I’d have grabbed the reins in that moment it could well have been a catastrophe. But I felt her tighten and I let go. I relaxed. If you want o have a soft horse and be safe it’s imperitive to have a relaxed independant seat!!

Meet Diablo.

I’ve always wanted to
Play with a thoroughbred of my own. This guy came up as an opportunity. Bonus being he was raised and raced on Cen nutrition so I know that’s looked after. He had 9 starts I think and just wasn’t quick enough.

Anyway. I’m planning on documenting his progress from start to finish with me on his way to becoming a cowboy dressage vaquero buckaroo horse.

As part of the journey he may well do some ranch etc as well.
