You never know who your customers will be…

One of our recent Forage Food giveaway winners reached out to let us know they didn’t have birds—but they do have Mitchell’s Hopping Mice!

These native Aussie cuties thrive on small parrot seed mixes, along with a bit of fruit, veg, and the occasional nut. Turns out our giveaway was a hit with creatures great and small.

Meet Glory — the therapy bird making a real difference.

Glory is a registered therapy Green Cheek Conure bringing comfort and joy to hospital patients across the US — even visiting emergency departments and ICUs. Her human, Charlie, recently added a Seed Cube to her special travel setup and told us, "We couldn’t be happier."

Our incredible team is growing rapidly and we have some exciting new volunteer position openings! Work with a wide variety of rescued native wildlife at our stunning 35-acre conservation haven. Expand your skills and help wildlife in need as we continue to develop our world-class facilities.

Position Details and Applicant Requirements
- Must have minimum Cert 2 or Cert 3 in Animal/Wildlife Care (or equivalent University Qualification) OR
- Be a registered wildlife carer in NSW having previously completed basic wildlife training.
- Experience working with flying foxes and up-to-date rabies vaccinations not essential, but highly desirable.
