NOT for sale.
Sharing a little of the current journey. Her Sire is still here and putting a few rippers on the ground, mostly for others. Stud duties are restricted for me not him as it’s a 1 person does all here (mostly anyway) I’ve always done this for the Joy of it, such a wonderful blessed life I’ve lived so far.
It’s not the same now, the body is giving in to the hard times had through the years of treatment to keep me up and running. Not meant to ride a horse they say, the specialist knows I will only stop when it’s impossible.
So I chose this newly started 3 yo as my new partner, what a nut hey 😆 rather she kind of chose me, yes she is by my stallion out of one of my mares and was born kind of special, she is an absolute delight, not without baby issues by any stretch but generally is a very relaxed, willing, quick and soft learner. She chose me as she and I just fit. Enough said there.
This is a ‘I just had the best ride’ post really! All we do is real basics, no lessons at this point just to see how we both cope with a little work maybe twice a week. She stars every-time!!
Sorry for the big blurb on me and my gorgeous new partner but if you get this far and you are looking for something there is a younger full sister that will be available soon.

Happy New Year all!
What a wonderful way to start the year, playing with the ‘Stellar filly’
Young horses are such a delight, I’ve always said how much I enjoy the foals and youngsters to work with, they are little sponges and I know I don’t always get it right, but while I have one I will enjoy! Thanks to my ever caring wonderful sister Gay Mitchell for being there to take pics and hang around while I play❣️
Here’s to strength to you all to get through the hard times, courage to step outside your comfort zone, the ability to find joy in the smallest of ‘miracles’ to laughing at lot , (note to me, laugh at yourself more 😆) and of course good health.
Have fun watching me be naughty with this one! Di 😁

Big shout out to Viewhill Farm - Australia Kimberley and Andrew for yet another brilliant job starting a youngster for me.
Soft, calm and responsive, qualities that are a must and each time I have the pleasure of riding a youngster started with them I know I also have a safe horse. Wouldn't send mine anywhere else.

I highly recommend Viewhill Farm - Australia for all your training needs to either get you started, help you along or tidy something up and SO much more! Many a light bulb moment with horses have I experienced with their guidance.

So very pleased this one didn't sell, had her up just once as a rising 2yo but there is something special about this horse and it has been from birth, but I have to laugh as all my life it has been a good horse but with the 'right' coloured coat (for me anyway) now it looks like my last riding horse is a chestnut, haha ha, jokes on me! A good horse is a good horse no matter what colour and I often wonder how many times we miss out because of our love of a 'colour' not the horse its self, hmmm.

This Stellar filly by Merool Flash Boots ASHS HSH APHA out of Freshwater Flee ASHS HSHis another ripper that these two produce. She will be moved on at weaning while retaining her two older sisters who not only show great potential but they have the kindest stable natures to work with!
