Larry is going great!! He comes and sees all the animals at feed up time and plays with all his cousins. He is a very special man. ❤️❤️❤️

After a bit of a heart stopping birth that we thought would end in a c section, Aurora gave us a beautiful boofy boy. He is very flashy!! Mum and Bub are doing great now.
Also a huge shout out to Russell, Karen and Shelby for getting me through this kidding. Aurora is my girl so I was very anxious about her kidding for the first time.

🌈 The hard side of kidding season… 🌈

With all the joy, excitement and beautiful new little lives that kidding season brings, sometimes we have to accept that there can also be heartbreak. 💔

Sadly, we lost our beautiful Luna, along with one of her precious babies. Despite doing everything we could, sometimes things just don’t go the way we desperately want them to.

We were, however, able to save one little boy. 🤎

We’ve named him Larkin, although he’s already affectionately known as Larry. 🥰 He will be bottle raised, wethered, and there is absolutely no question about where his future lies — Larry will stay right here with us for the rest of his life.

He may have had a heartbreaking start, but this little man will never be short of love. He is a very special little piece of Luna that we get to keep. ❤️

Rest easy, beautiful Luna, with your little one beside you. 🌈
You will be very missed.

Larkin “Larry” — Luna’s little legacy. 🤎🐐
