Better late then never 😂
Every year the pinnacle of showing for me is Grand Nationals and Sydney Royal. It an absolute privilege to compete at this level, and what made it even more special was the fact that Kilpara park took out two major titles.
Many years ago this young lass by the name of Tasha McPherson called me wanting to win Grand Nationals. I thought to myself here we go again. She told me what her plans were, what she wanted and how she was going to make it all magically happen. I loved her enthusiasm and offered her one of my “special” ponies. Now KP Oliver Twist had only recently been purchased back by the stud in questionable condition and tash had to trust me that he had the potential to go all the way, and that she did. I have included a before and after so you can so just how much vision was required 😂.
Tash has had a wonderful band of people behind her to take the now 6yo to runner up at GN 2024 and winning the prestigious Douglas Family Grand Nationals Child’s Shetland for 2026. Tasha your absolute attention to detail and hard work has all paid off. I’m so incredibly proud.
I’d also like to congratulate the following KP ponies put of 27 ponies entered Kilpara take had 7 in the class
🥇 Kilpara park Oliver Twist
5th Kilpara park jumbuck
Top 10 Kilpara park Last Dance
11th Kilpara park rolls Royce
And to the others that all competed so beautifully with perfect behaviour congratulations to you also. I was sooooooo proud of you all.
