Easter 2026 🐣 brought two special cocker spaniels into my lap - literally. Sweet 9yro Poppy 🐾💕, and Bonnie 🐾💕, 1yro going on 10.

When I was introduced I was told that Bonnie is generally wary of people, but it didn't take long to strike up a loving connection. She was literally in my lap in no time!

The three of us became close house buddies, and spent the rainy days inside, and the sunny ones at the beach.

Also in my care was an 11yro guinea pig named Peach - she was so easy to look after by feeding her silverbeet and hay everyday and making sure she had water. Peach was content in her sunroom, scattering about, eating, and sometimes hiding under blankets.
