Sire: Yulgilbar Do It Again aka Rooster (by Teles Again out of a Pl***oy Roy Mare)
Dam: Acre Chaser (By Kehls Exy Acres out of Genevieve novice camp horse).
Rooster is a very cowy, quiet, willing stallion throwing good minded progeny.
Acre Chaser was uncompleted due to work commitments then unfortunately died young while Sapphire was a foal. Kehls Exy Acres (Acres Destiny x Staretta Chex) was a prolific competitor placing in the top 10 of every major challenge in his 4yo year including Cloncurry. Staretta Chex is a 3/4 sister to Roanies Chex and a top producer in her own right. Genevieve was a competitive novice Campdraft and also out of an open mare herself.
Sapphire was given a handful of rides when broken in and then had a lengthy spell. She was brought back in to work 4 weeks ago with Des Burns as a fairly blank slate. She has come along very quickly and shows a very good mind and willingness to learn. She has not been trained on excessively with very little arena work, the majority of the 4 weeks has been riding out on cattle. She is tracking cattle well, picks up her leads, flying changes, side pass, leg yield etc and has 3 nice paces and a soft stop.
Lovely mare ready to go ahead in your chosen Discipline. Des has mentioned that she would be a great challenge contender for next year. Eligible for 2024 c**t challenges. Nt born, bred and acclimatised. She has a depth of competitive cow breeding on both sides of her pedigree however is unable to be registered as Acre Chaser died before I could get DNA from her.
