Foster carer still needed!

Bella is urgently in need of a forever home or a foster home.
Bella is currently in boarding while we try and find a carer for her and poor Bella is getting very lonely in there 😔
Bella loves the company of humans. She has lived with kids, but can be a bit jumpy with the little ones as she doesn't understand her size.

She loves walks, chew toys and bones.
She can be a bit bossy so needs a dog friend that will ignore her, or one that will tell her off if shes stepping out of line.
She is not tested with cats.

Currently located in Geelong but can go to a carer anywhere in vic as shes had all her vet work complete.

Shes a 5yo staghound - staffy mix. She weighs approx 35kgs.

Meet Bella!

Bella has had a bit of a rough run. She ended up in a pound with her siblings as a 6 week old puppy. She ended up in care with us back then and was adopted by her foster carer.
Unfortunately Bella's owner became unwell after owning her for 5 years and due to the severity of their illness was unable to care for her.
Bella came back into care and upon her routine check for her vaccination the vet noticed a mass. A skin scrapping was sent off and it was found to be cancerous. So miss Bella was booked in for surgery to remove the mass and some more testing. It came back as a mast cell tumor. Lucky for Bella this was considered a low risk one and it was not in any other part of her body. The vets did an excellent job and removed all cancerous tissue in the removal.

Now that she has a clean bill if health she is ready to find her forever home!

Bella loves humans. She loves being near her people and will sleep on her bed near them or follow them around to sus out what they're doing.

Bella loves kids, but isnt great with boundaries and may pinch their food or accidently knock them over. Because of this a home with kids over 6 would suit best.

Bella loves other dogs but can be a bit possessive of her things so a dog who will tell her off so she knows not to cross their boundaries will suit her best.

Bella knows sit, drop, shake and "on your bed". She also loves walking but can pull on lead when there are distractions.

Bella would love nothing more than to find her forever home after all the stress shes been through!

Can you believe that bitzer has been in care since he was just a little baby and he still hasnt found his family?! We are all shocked!

Bitzer is a gorgeous pup with a big heart and he really loves to snuggle with his humans .
He lovese playing in the pool when the suns out, he also love to PlayStation fetch or tug of war and wrestling.

Say hello to ghost !

This boy is Kind, hilarious, goofy, intelligent, emotional, big softy, playful, potential for great things.. just a few words his long-term carer uses to describe him.

He has gone through training and hard work to learn life is safe and love is the medicine to all things!!

He loves cuddles, playing zoomies with his career chasing each other around the house, sleeping under the doona cover and will do a little cry till you let him under ( way too cute ).

Ghost does need a very specific home but we just know the perfect one is out there for him

Coby urgently needs a foster or forever home!

This sweet gentleman's owner died and unfortunately he's stuck living at the property until we can find somewhere for him to go.

Coby absolutely loves his human and would love a home where maybe his human has retired and has time to spend their day with him.

His favourite things are cuddles on the couch, water and bones.

His prefered owner would have experience with German Shepherds, not have kids and not have cats. He'd be happy with either a female dog or as an only dog.

SPROUT UPDATE 🌱

Sprout is now just over a month post elbow dysplasia surgery and just look at her go!
She’s really found her groove over the last two weeks and he’s gained some real speed .
Her favorite thing to do is chase the little kids and the big dogs around the house now she has the capabilities of keeping up.

Sprouts recovery has seemingly gone really well but we will be getting her final imaging done on Friday to make sure everything has healed well and as it should ❤️

We appreciate every single person who has checked in,sent well wishes and also donated towards sprouts treatment.

We still have a little bit to raise and the total will increase after her check up this Friday as well! So if you would like to help us support sprout through the final stages of this part of her journey we would be so grateful.

We are currently needing some carers for the below animals.

Huxley -
6yo Staffy x. Up to date with all his vet work and just needs somewhere to hang while he waits for his now home.
Has lived With another dog but does like to be the dominant dog.
Kid friendly.
Can go to a carer anywhere in VIC. Currently in Narree Warren.

Bane -
8mo staffy x kelpie.
Kid friendly and needs slow introduction to new animals.
Will need to be near our vets in Geelong, Lilydale or lynbrook so he can get desexed.
Currently in Camperdown area.

Bella -
3yo Maltese Shih Tzu x.
Needs a home without kids or cats. Would best suit a male dog.
Can get anxious and try and dig out.
Will need to be in care near Geelong, Lilydale or lynbrook for desexing.

4x cats.
1x desexed male - approx 3yo, friendly. Good with other cats and dogs.
1x 4.5yo female - friendly with other cats and dogs.
2x 2yo females - one girl is quite timid. The other very friendly. Both fine with other dogs and cats.
Currently located Lilydale. Carer will need to be near Lilydale, lynbrook or Geelong for Vet care.
