Taking expressions of interest for our first cat grooming course for 2026. This course will take place in January 2026 and is available over a 10 day period.

The course is instructed by 2 senior cat groomers with combined cat grooming experience exceeding 23 years between them as well as our assistant trainer.

Cats are behaviourally assessed and student friendly.

Demonstration cats are part of the course content for aggression and other behavioural.

Students will have hands on experience in a cat exclusive salon covering;
- Bathing
- Clipping
- Sanitary
- Half Belly
- Full Belly
- Nail Caps

Love dogs? Looking for a career change? Thinking of moving into the animal industry but don’t know where to start? Local to the Geelong or Bellarine areas? Consider training with the International Grooming Academy in 2025!

We are offering an early bird discount for our course commencing January 20th 2025. With multiple award winning teachers and a state of the art salon, you’ll have the best tools and techniques at your disposal.

Can’t commit to a full 6 weeks? We have flexible options starting from as little as 1 day all the way through to 24 days where you’ll tick off each box along the way to certification!

Want to be qualified not just certified? With grooming becoming more standardised there’s a big push for qualified groomers. This means a Certificate III that’s nationally recognised not just a certificate of attendance of training. We partner with Heiniger Academy so our students can complete their Certificate III in Animal Care Services (Dog Grooming) at their own pace.

Get in early to reserve your spot as places are limited. 20% off courses booked prior to November 30th 2025.

Congratulations to our latest student graduate Lauren 🥳 Lauren completed 10 days with us and is now prepared to enter the industry as a bather or trainee groomers assistant. Lauren loved her time so much that’s she’s now enrolled for the Heiniger Certificate III in Animal Care (Pet Grooming) and is now on her way to being a fully qualified Dog Groomer. We look forward to having Lauren back with us in 2025.

A quick reminder that our private training has very limited options for 2024 and the beginning to 2025 so please contact as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Our places are also filling fast with almost 50% reserved spots in our January 2025 group course.

How adorable is Bobbie? A huge thank you to his owners for allowing our students to practice their new grooming skills on Bobbie. All student grooms are of course 100% supervised and finished off by our senior grooming and teaching staff. Bobbie of course was completely spoilt during his groom appointment 🥰
