I've been a bit quiet for a while, not because I'm not doing any disks or tiles etc it's just because I can't show you what I've been making. What I can say is I've had many steep learning curves involving polyurethane testing, silicone rubber, protland cement, Activated Carbon, Crushed Shell just to name a few items. It will be good when I can finally show you the collaborations I've been involved with, in regards to Coral Spawning.

I get asked to do all sorts of weird and wonderful reef related shapes. Do you know what this shape is?

A very sad sign of the times when you put out 2 x 25kg boxes of disks out for the courier only for them to be stolen. I guess it looked appealing as it had "fragile" on them both. Boy, will they be disappointed. Bloody arseholes

When possible, I'm giving the disks a good pressure wash. It doesn't seem to get rid of all the dust, so you'll have to give them a quick swish around before using, just to be sure..

This is my all time favourite fish

Don’t mess with this fish! The mandarinfish (Synchiropus splendidus) is one of the only species known to produce its own true blue coloring. Thanks to cyanophores, light-reflecting cells that are blue in pigment, this fish is clad in one of the animal kingdom’s rarest hues. But did you know that this striking shade is actually a warning to potential foes? While many species of fish have scales for self-defense, the mandarinfish has none. Instead, it produces a smelly, foul-tasting toxic mucus that makes it unappetizing to predators!

Hope everyone had a good Xmas.
The few weeks leading upto Xmas have been difficult with supply of ceramic and then time in the Cardiac ward. I am trying to get as much of the back orders made as I can with some help but for now I'm a bit restricted. Hope you all have a good New Year

Off to Cairns from the 4rh to the 10th December. Planning on annoying those at Monsoon Aquatics and Sustainable Reefs while I'm there.
That means no new orders until I get back . Sorry but I've got a load to do before I go.

Well done Sophie and Monsoons
