Anyone looking or thinking of adopting a kitten my beautiful baby unfortunately didn't work out in her new home over the weekend. The new family's other cat didn't like her. She is very affectionate and loving. Her adoption includes vaccinations desexings flea, worming and microchip. She has been hand raised so needs to be an indoor baby. Introducing the handsome Mr Solo ♥️ Solo is a gentleman through and through and an absolute pleasure to laser (and cuddle during laser). Solo comes to visit as a preventative maintenance as he has a hectic competition schedule doing tracking, showing, dancing with dogs and many other talents. We laser Solos joints to make sure they stay nice and healthy and agile so he can keep competing as long as he likes.
He is a multi title champion and has so many ribbons for his amazing performance and ability. Personally I think he deserves a ribbon just for being adorable.. ♥️♥️🐶🐾

It's been a busy laser month and there are a few new additions to the comfy critters laser clan.. so I will kick it off with Mr Cruz.
Cruz started laser at the beginning of May after have a car accident. He sustained serious injuries to all 4 feet that required bandage changes and laser every 2 days. Cruz took it like an absolute legend and has been the perfect patient and is still always happy to come visit regardless of the discomfort he is in. Unfortunately his injuries had to be treated as open wounds due to their nature and location so it meant he would be looking at a very long recovery. But with a little help from laser treatment we have been able to help this little guy have his wounds close over in just 3 1/2 weeks rather than the 6 weeks we expected..
Unfortunately his injuries are a little too graphic to show you the heal time in photos so here is a photo of him having a post treatment and treat nap. Thank you to Cruz's mum Caitlin for allowing me to help her boy and being available for appointments every couple of days and Dr Kristy Junker from Greencross Vets Gawler for his vet care.

This beautiful majestic young man is Darth Maul. He is a smooch machine that loves his treats. He is currently having laser for hip dysplasia, arthritic elbow and his asthma.
He is a stunning boy with lots of love to give, and plenty to tell me.... especially if I am too slow with the pats or treats and he likes to remind me with a little nip of my hand to hurry up.

Out doing some lasers at a wonderful rescue today. Help Save The Kitties . Debi does such good work caring and rehabilitating these guys. So today was a variety of sessions recovery from broken pelvis, post desexing wound treatment and arthritis treatments.

Arnold is very special kitty.. he is a long time street cat who was taken in by a rescue 4 years ago. He is also the father of my cat who was caught in the same colony. Arnold is diabetic so the rescue who took him decided to keep him in their care permanently. He has been unwell and now diagnosed with kidney disease on top of his diabetes.. Arnold also suffered a fall so was not moving and very painful. His foster mum has been in tears with worry. Last Friday Arnold started laser treatment and to receive a message from his mum the next morning to say he is starting to walk again slowly and is eating again was fantastic. Arnold has more treatments to come to help get his movement back how it was and also to assist his kidneys.. speedy recovery Arnold we are here for you buddy.
