🥚 Fresh mixed rare breed dozens, HALF PRICE! 🥚

Available for collection in Gatton 😊

Rare 60
Rainbow 25

Some eggs may have a few dirt marks due to the wet weather, and I sincerely apologise on behalf of my girls 🐓🌧️

However, they have been informed this behaviour is completely unacceptable… especially since apparently a speck of dirt can lead to online complaints these days 🤭

You’re very welcome to pick them up, otherwise they’ll be heading straight into my incubator 🐣

I’m simply trying to create less work for myself for once… but I certainly won’t be tossing good eggs away, so either you incubate at a good price or I do 😅

Update 😅

Ok… the AI automated responses are apparently having very long and deep conversations with some of you 😂

I apologise, as some people are thinking it’s actually me replying. Please bear with me while I try to cancel/fix this setup 😅

If you receive an instant super professional reply… it’s probably not me 😂

😅Well thanks to the automated AI responses, I finally managed to set up… hopefully some customers stop getting annoyed at me for my late replies 😅😂

This response was gold…🤖

“I’m going to pass you over to a team member who can assist you…” "they will be happy to help"...

I AM the team member...and the ONLY team member ! 😭🤣❤️ thanks Ai

The eye saga continues 😭👁️
After finally feeling like my eye was completely healed from the chicken peck incident… now all of the sudden the cloudy/double vision and light sensitivity are back again after a mild sharp pain in the middle of the night last night 😭
I’m booking my optometrist to see what’s happening.

From chat gpt:
What you’re describing can happen after a corneal injury, even when it seemed fully healed. One possibility is something called recurrent corneal erosion.

Recurrent Corneal Erosion
After a laceration or deep scratch, the top layer of the cornea sometimes doesn’t anchor perfectly back down. Then later — often during sleep or right when waking — the eyelid can stick slightly to the healing area and pull part of that fragile surface back open.
People often describe it exactly like:
“It felt healed… then suddenly the exact same pain came back”
waking in the middle of the night or morning with sharp pain
foreign body sensation
tearing
light sensitivity
feeling like the original injury returned in the same spot
The timing also fits. It can happen days or weeks after the original injury, especially once normal life resumes and lubricating drops are stopped.
A few other possibilities:
dry eye exposing the healing area
minor reopening of the surface
inflammation
less commonly, infection (especially important after an animal-related injury)

Because yours involved a chicken peck, I would not ignore worsening symptoms.
