A big thanks to everyone coming through this morning and sharing the hay around.

I have just checked orders for the weekday pick ups and we are now sold out already.

We plan to do more very soon.

Lucky we baled yesterday because it’s raining here now.

Hay is now in a bale and in the shed.
We were lucky and missed the rain and the cloudy skies allowed us to get it done earlier in the day which is always a bonus.
If you’re driving some distance and need 2 weeks of supply to make it worth the trip that should be fine.
Just limited stocks to share around atm.

Hay update 31/10/26
My day is about to get to busy raking etc to reply to anyone our plan is to get the hay baled and in the shed tonight so it will be available in the morning.
Hay is a soft Rhodes with lucerne as per pics.
If you want to collect in the morning we will be open from 7am to 10am (Sunday 1/11/26)

I would recommend only taking enough to last you a week.
We will be doing more hay cutting Tuesday approx so there will be more coming

We got started on some perfect 50/50 Rhodes lucerne mix yesterday
The weather window is not great so we are only risking a small block. This means there will only be a small amount of hay available next week. If it works out.
We have many acres to cut between the rain events.
Once the hay is in the shed we will let you know.

We nearly cut a block of 50/50 today but the wet weather in the west and the short hay making window is too risky.
I know everyone is desperate for hay and if there is a chance to make hay we will be on it.
Our tractor is sad as we were going to cut but then we canceled😭

For the people wondering what’s actually going on. Due to soft ground it’s better to be as light as possible for mowing so we are dropping the water to decrease weight by about 1.5 ton

Some good solid rain but just a bit too close for comfort now. Rhodes grass loved the drink but has had enough! Just waiting for a dry week now. 🌧️

Hay update 22/10/26

Due to the wet weather we are currently sold out on all hay. Unless you have an already organised order.

We don’t need to wait for paddocks to grow from the rain as we have kept them watered throughout the season.
As you can see from the pic there is no growth where there is no irrigation. Once there is clear weather we can cut.

We will have many hay options coming in and large volumes.
