Very reluctant sale of our resident stallion BLACK TIE GUNNER (imp) 🩵
It has been amazing having this stallion as part of the family for 11 years. He is very easy to have around and has a cool personality.
He has produced exceptional foals in type, temperament and colour.
He has great semen quality and is easy to collect.
He does have an old hock injury which may prevent him from coming back into work although does not bother him in the paddock.
He is 14yo, 14.1hh. He has produced reiners, cow horses, ranch horses and even barrel racers.
He is AmQHA, APHA reg in the USA and AQHA reg in Australia. PHAA stallion listing.
He is homozygous black, so no chestnut foals!
He is SW2, a LOT of baldy faces and socks.
He is a GBED carrier so we always ensure mares are tested, this eliminates this ever being an issue and foals are never at risk.
He is remaining 6 panel clear.
We have not advertised him at stud in about 8 years and each year we have offered limited services to approved mares only with all places filling fast.
He has a large following and so much room to grow this, which we have not done. Partly due to owning him for our own use and partly due to other commitments.
He is an amazing stallion who has a lot of life ahead of him and we would love to see him thrive in the future with the right new home.
We are extremely sad to share this post.
Due to work and family commitments we have decided the best thing for Django is to find him a new home where he will get more attention than he has been here of late.
We have not had time to breed the last 2 seasons and not only is that not ideal for a stallion, we have been letting down a lot of mare owners who are eager to breed to him.
All mare owner contacts will be provide to the new owner, along with ownership of his FB page (which has been lacking attention also).
This is a very hard sale, please do not make it harder by wasting our time.
