The Forest Hill Veterinary Clinic, as it was originally called, was founded in 1975 and operated for many years as a single vet practice. In 2008, our small clinic on Canterbury Road underwent extensive modernisation and extension works to transform it into the state of the art Veterinary Hospital it is today. Our updated facility has enabled us to provide better services for our existing clients

in a comfortable modern setting and to cater for the needs of our expanding practice well into the future. We service Forest Hill, Blackburn, Nunawading, Mitcham, Vermont, Vermont South, Glen Waverley, Blackburn/Blackburn South and surrounding suburbs.

This handsome young Dalmatian visited the team at Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital today for his second booster vaccination. 💉🐾

Henry was all ears, lots of spots, and just a tiny bit curious about what was happening. The great news is that he's now another step closer to being fully protected and ready for all of life's puppy adventures! 🌳🐕🎾

From 6:00pm to 8:00pm, our nursing team will be in clinic and available for:
✅ Nurse consultations
✅ Medication and food collections
✅ Over-the-counter sales
✅ General advice and assistance

Please note that veterinary consultations and medical assessments will not be available during this time.

Bella joined us at Forest Hill Veterinary Hospital today for a dental procedure. While she may be tiny, keeping those pearly whites healthy is a big job! 🐶✨

This gorgeous fluffy cloud is Klee, who spent the day with us for a dental treatment under general anaesthesia. 🐶☁️❤️

Fudge paid us a visit after the family became concerned he may have eaten something toxic. 😟

When a pet is suspected of swallowing something harmful, one treatment option may be inducing emesis - a veterinary procedure where we safely administer medication to make a pet vomit. This can help remove potentially toxic material from the stomach before it has a chance to be absorbed into the body. 💊➡️🤢

Thankfully, Fudge was brought in promptly, giving us the best chance to help. ❤️

While nobody enjoys an upset tummy, sometimes a little vomit can go a long way in preventing a much bigger problem! 🤭

We're hoping Fudge is feeling much brighter and back to his usual mischievous self soon. 🐶💕
