The Siberian Husky Club of NSW Sled Sports Weekend 🌲🐾

Well, what a big weekend of achievements❗️

On Saturday and Sunday Sage and I hiked 16km each day for her to gain the last 2 qualifiers for her Working Pack Dog Title 🥾 ✨

Sage carried 30% of her body weight ❗️

The ANKC Race was held on Saturday night, and this was Libby’s first race. She was flawless and I couldn’t be more proud of her 🧡

Sage and Libby make an exceptional team, and both qualified gaining km’s towards their sled dog title. They also came 🥇in the 2 Dog Class.

A massive shout out to Luke who helps take care of the dogs, sets up, packs up, and does whatever needs doing for the committee and me. It wouldn’t be possible without you❗️

Thank you to our judges Aaron Coventry and Jordan Anderson. It was a great start to the season, and a fun weekend in the forest 🙂

Sage, Libby and Marley went for a pre-race visit with the team at Central West Rehab Vet today 🩺

They all had a hydrotherapy session and a laser treatment as part of our training and recovery program which helps ensure they’re conditioned for sledding season 🐾

The countdown is on for our race of the season 🌲🛷

My beautiful Libby 🧡

She has such a quirky personality which we love and has settled right into the pack. She loves playing in the yard with Marley and is super excited when it’s hook up time.
