With all the wonderful puppies we’re seeing, we all need to be vigilant against parvovirus. Louie, the Golden Retriever X Labrador puppy, presented with some bloody diarrhoea, so he was carefully quarantined and tested for parvovirus. Luckily, this gorgeous boy has been given the all-clear, so he’s home for more cuddles tonight!

Last week we welcomed Maathangi to our team 💚 Maathangi has had a passion for working with animals her entire life and knew she was going to work with animals in some capacity. After graduating from Murdoch University with a bachelors degree in Animal Science, she decided to pursue a career in Veterinary Nursing. She is thoroughly enjoying her nursing career and looks forward to continuing to grow her knowledge and skills as a veterinary nurse. When she isn’t working, you will most likely find her having fun in the great outdoors with her 7 year old rescue Staffy X, Nala 🐾

We hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Last week 3 month old Nelson had his first encounter with a ‘Spicy Sky Raisin’ otherwise known as a bee 🐝 His owner was quick to bring him down to us and luckily with some antihistamine and TLC administered he was back to his normal self.
