We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Assistant Manager to join our team in the heart of the Kimberley, WA.

Working within Pardoo Wagyu’s vertically integrated Wagyu operation, you’ll be part of a progressive business managing a 14,000-head breeder herd while leading from the front alongside a dedicated stock camp team.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head Stockman or higher
• Strong horsemanship and cattlemanship
• Leadership and communication skills
• Competency on horseback and motorbike
• Experience in station operations and maintenance

Leopold Downs/Fairfield Station is seeking an experienced, hands-on Assistant Manager to join our team in the heart of the Kimberley, WA.

Located just 80km west of Fitzroy Crossing and 400km east of Broome, Leopold/Fairfield is home to a 14,000-head breeder herd and forms the breeding hub of Pardoo Wagyu’s vertically integrated Wagyu operation.

This role is ideal for someone who leads from the front, enjoys working alongside their crew, and has a strong background in cattle and station operations.

𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Head Stockman or higher
• Excellent horsemanship and cattle handling skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Experience with station maintenance, infrastructure and livestock records
• Competency on horseback and motorbike
• Current driver’s licence (HR licence or willingness to obtain)
• A strong work ethic and commitment to safety
