Still a little emotional after Marburg yesterday 🥹✨
Bugsy 🥹 my beautiful Space Journey stepped around the 80 for 4th place and jumped his second ever 90 yesterday. He is just SUCH a nice horse to have around. He definitely has a lot more in the tank, but right now we’re prioritising confidence, strength and keeping everything relaxed and positive. His time to step up won’t be far away ✨
I honestly can’t thank Jesse and Jamaica from Townsend Racing enough for trusting me with such a beautiful boy and making the trip out to watch us go around ❤️
And Quincy ❤️ what a special day with him. He jumped his first ever 90 and his first ever 100 yesterday… and not only was it Quincy’s first 100, it was my first 100 in about 3 years. After some time away from the sport due to injuries and life getting in the way a bit, it honestly meant so much to be back out there doing it again.
He was such a good boy all day. We had a couple of rider error rails, but he was so honest and helped me out like an absolute champ. I’m so proud of him.
Talk about Mr Versatile too… Quincy went from being lesson pony on Thursday night, to archery pony on Friday, then straight back to showjumper on Saturday 😂 He’s really proving he’s multitalented.
Huge thank you to:
🤍 My mum for giving up her Saturday for me
🤍 Jennifer Bain for coming to support us and taking the best photos of my boys
🤍 Emily Hubble at home for always helping feed, look after everyone and making sure Quincy gets all the treats and kisses
Feeling very lucky to have these two boys in my team
