Seamus was in the safe hands of Vet Dallas today for his castration procedure. 🐾💙

He was a brave boy throughout the day and is now on the road to recovery with plenty of rest, cuddles, and TLC ahead.

Meet Polly! 🐾💚

This little possum was handed into our clinic this week after being found alone and in need of help. After spending the day tucked safely away in Nurse Bec's pocket, she quickly earned the name Polly and plenty of admirers along the way!

Native wildlife can sometimes find themselves in trouble due to injury, illness, storms, vehicle accidents, or being separated from their mums. If you ever come across an injured, orphaned, or distressed wild animal, please don't hesitate to bring them to us. Our team can provide immediate care and help connect them with the appropriate wildlife carers and rehabilitation services.

A big thank you to the kind person who stopped to help Polly today. Every animal deserves a helping hand when they need it most. 🦘🦜🦔🐨

Update from our resident feline supervisor - AKA Doc

As a true Queensland cat, this chilly weather is simply unacceptable. ❄️ Our clinic cat has officially clocked off all duties and can currently be found tightly burritoed in the warmest blanket available.

If you require her services today — emotional support, judgemental stares, keyboard sitting, or quality control inspections — please note appointments will need to take place directly beside the heater.. aka nurse Bec's dog tessa 🔥

Stay warm out there, humans! 💙

🎵 Pet of the Week: Frankie the Gentleman 🐾

Channeling a bit of Frank Sinatra charm, Frankie came in this week for his castration and handled it like a true gentleman 🎩

Cool, calm, and collected the whole way through.

They say “that’s life”… and Frankie’s now living his best 💙

Bravo, Frankie! 👏

✨🦷 Before & After: A Smile Worth Barking About! 🐾✨

Look at that glow-up! 😍
After a professional dental clean, this patient’s teeth are looking brighter and healthier.

You may still notice some redness or slight bleeding — this is due to gingivitis (inflamed gums caused by plaque and tartar). Buildup often sits under the gum line, so we clean both above and below to remove hidden bacteria.

A little redness after the procedure is normal as the gums begin to heal 💗

Dental care is about more than just fresh breath — it’s key to your pet’s overall health!

Sweet Willow is slowly waking up from her nap, and honestly… could there be a cozier sight? 🐾💕

With Nurse Bec right by her side, she’s getting all the gentle snuggles and reassurance she needs. Those sleepy eyes, that squishy face, and a whole lot of love — it’s moments like these that make our days so special.

Recovering in comfort, surrounded by care 💗
