Let's talk budgie health‼️‼️‼️ Whether you breed your birds, have your bird outside or have your bird as a hand tame bird inside.... all budgies need a healthy balanced diet to meet the needs of what they would eat in the wild. Birds require a well rounded diet of fruits, vegetables, wild grasses, calcium and iodine on a daily basis. A few added supplements and vitamins that my birds receive as pictured below to ensure maximum health and immunity on a regular basis is Soluvite D, Vetafarm nutriblend pellets, spark liquid (for the breeders), calcihealth (added calcium at certain times) breeding aid (for the breeders), apple cider vinegar and Tummy rite. Gumtree branches and shell grit are also great for your birds. Please look after your bird/s and offer them as much variety in their diet as possible. This will ensure a long living healthy bird/s. 😊👍

Ever since I was a child I had a fascination with nature and animals.... particularly birds. 🐥 As of today my hobby has hit 300 Budgies from starting off at 2 as a five year old. Ridiculous I know lol. My aviaries but are my zone out place... that place I can relax....recharge and just be removed from the stressors and pressures that sometimes build up throughout my life. These guys are always happy and that makes me happy. Just today in these videos I witnessed an egg hatch, a new born baby enter the world in day 1 and see one of my oldest birds pass away. But it’s life and I love it’s cycle. We all have that thing that is special to us whether it be art, musical, sport or a million other things....🥰 it can define us as individuals. I’m very lucky that this hobby has allowed me to give back to the community by selling hand tame birds for the elderly, children and anyone really... So I guess this is an appreciation post to my little flighted fellas. 🥰 👍
