Beautiful 17hh Paint x Thoroughbred Tobiano gelding seeking his next partner.

Previously shown successfully with the Paint Horse Association of Australia and more recently enjoyed as a pleasure horse by a non-competitive adult lady rider, MJ is a quality, educated and eye-catching horse with beautiful movement, presence and personality.

Offered for sale due to his owner's changing circumstances, MJ is currently presented in paddock condition (photos taken March 2026) and priced accordingly. This presents a genuine opportunity for someone seeking a striking, well-handled horse to bring back into work and enjoy.

MJ has been handled and ridden by both adults and children, is comfortable around people and busy environments, and has been a much-loved pleasure horse for the past several years. He has also featured in campaign photography for luxury brands thanks to his exceptional looks and presence.

“Magoo” is a solid, quiet and genuinely versatile gelding with a lovely laid back nature both in and out of the arena. An educated allrounder, he is equally suited to someone wanting a safe and enjoyable pleasure horse or a rider wanting a competitive mount for the show ring and dressage arena.

Magoo is easy to handle and good to do anything with. He would suit novice riders upwards and has the temperament and education to potentially suit a balanced beginner under supervision. A kind, forgiving horse that is happy to go out and enjoy life whether that be lessons, competition, trail riding or general pleasure riding.

His competition record reflects his versatility and trainability, with results across Dressage and Working Equitation. Highlights include:

• Dressage Masters Champion at the Allora Show Society Equestrian Group in 2025
• Consistently scoring competitively and regularly placing across a range of Dressage levels with some results exceeding 70%

A genuine been there, done that type gelding with plenty of experience and still plenty to offer. Captain has competed and trained to 90cm jumping and Elementary level dressage, making him a fantastic allrounder and schoolmaster type.

Easy going and uncomplicated to ride, he is very much a point and shoot gelding with a laid back nature both in and outside the arena. Suitable for someone wanting a confidence builder, experienced mount or enjoyable allrounder.

Good to catch, tie, shoe, float, wash and clip. Happy paddocked alone or with others and settles easily into routine.

Captain was originally purchased to join our lesson program and has done lessons with riders aged 5 years and older, both on and off the lead. Due to the drought we are unfortunately needing to reduce numbers.

A quality gelding with a solid foundation and genuine performance feel. Established in all three paces with a correct, balanced way of going. Educated with rollbacks, side pass and basic spins, he is a naturally forward, powerful horse who offers a responsive, energetic ride.

He has a strong work ethic and a forward-thinking attitude, making him best suited to a capable and confident rider who enjoys a horse with power and presence. Not a kick-along type, he goes willingly off the leg and covers ground with ease.

Versatile across a range of disciplines, he would suit riders looking toward the English arena or Western Performance.

Consistent and reliable both in the arena and out, he takes new environments in his stride while maintaining a sensible and composed demeanour. He is confident opening and closing gates under saddle and is a practical horse to ride and work with outside the arena.

Easy to handle and a pleasure to have around. Good to catch, self-loads onto the float, ties well and is good for the farrier. Well exposed to machinery and dogs, and comfortable leading off a buggy.
