We are looking for a Part Time Pet Stylist - Saturdays included.

Are you passionate about pets and an experienced Pet Groomer? We're searching for a talented and experienced groomer to join our team. If you have a knack for making pets look and feel their best and possess excellent grooming techniques, we want to hear from you!

Position: Experienced Dog Groomer

Location: Erskineville, Sydney

About Us: Hot Dog Cool Cat is a leading provider of professional pet grooming services to cats and dogs. (located next door to Sydney Animal Hospitals, and short 2min stroll from Erskineville train station).

At Hot Dog Cool Cat, we believe that happy and fulfilled employees are the key to providing exceptional service to our furry clients. Our small team of dedicated individuals, including a receptionist/bather, cat groomer, senior stylist, is at the heart of our success.

Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling according to client specifications and breed standards. 5-7 dogs per day.

• Provide compassionate care and handle pets with patience and kindness throughout the grooming process.

• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including proper sanitation of equipment and tools.

• Work collaboratively with our receptionist, salon manager, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns or special requests.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years of professional grooming experience, with proficiency in grooming various dog breeds and coat types.

• Demonstrated expertise in grooming techniques such as sc******ng, clipping, and de-shedding

• Strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards and styles.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

• Certification from a recognized grooming school or program is preferred but not required.
