Introducing Monkey!

Monkey is a Domestic Medium Hair born 11th April 2026.

Monkey and his siblings have come into us from a local cat hoarding situation. Given they haven't had much human socialisation before coming to us, all of these kids are incredibly playful (and a little cheeky).

Since being at the facility Monkey & his siblings have been absolutely beautiful kids. While they can still be a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn't take them long to show their true personalities. They love to play, wrestle, climb everything they probably shouldn't and basically get into your typical cheeky kitten shenaningans.

While Monkey could learn to be the spoilt only "child" at home, as he's grown up being surrounded by others & enjoys their company so much, we believe he would be more comfortable in a home with another feline companion to play with.

Monkey will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.

Monkey is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.

If you think you could be that furever family for Monkey, please contact our friendly staff via email at [email protected] or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.

His adoption fee includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.

Monkey is currently located in East Maitland.

Introducing Miss Kitty!

Miss Kitty is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 21st July 2025.

This gorgeous girl was brought into the facility as a "feral" unmicrochipped stray with a gaping wound on her abdomen. We could see instantly that she wasn't a feral street cat as she was purring even while being in incredible pain & barely able to walk. When she was taken to the vets for inspection they said (thankfully) the wound had missed all vital organs but she needed immediate surgery. When we picked her up after the procedure we were told she hadn't stopped purring the entire time she was at the clinic. A few weeks have now passed, her drain has been removed, her wound has healed and she's been the most affectionate patient ever. Even while having her drain removed, she couldn't help but purr & have "happy feet".

Since being at the facility Miss Kitty has been an absolute delight to care for. While she is still a little unsure of being at the facility, she adores human attention & affection. She loves a cheek scratch, doesn't mind being held, purrs constantly, rolls over onto her back and wriggles her body over to you if you stop petting her for too long. We've also noticed that she loves sitting in the doorway to soak up the sunshine on these cold winter days.

Miss Kitty will need a patient & loving owner who understands it might take her a little while to get used to her new home environment.

As most of her time with us has been her healing, she hasn't shown much interest in playing with toys, but she absolutely loves her Dine liquid treats.

Given her condition & environmental shyness, she has only just started having very brief interactions with other cats. There has been absolutely no signs of aggression from her during these interactions & we believe she could live with other cats if given a slow & controlled introduction to them. Alternatively she could be suitable to be the only spoilt "child" at home.

Miss Kitty will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.

Miss Kitty is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.

If you think you could be that furever family for Miss Kitty, please contact our friendly staff via email at [email protected] or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.

Her adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.

Miss Kitty is currently located in East Maitland.

Introducing Daisy!

Daisy is a Domestic Short Hair born approx 19th May 2024.

Sweet Daisy was originally a street cat who came to us for rehabilitation. This beautiful girl has been with us for a while now and she's been working incredibly hard on her socialisation with humans. While she can still be timid when meeting some people, Daisy is turning into a complete lap cat who adores attention from her favourite volunteers. With those she loves she will rub against their legs, shove her head in their hand for cheek scratches & she doesn't even mind being picked up and put onto their lap (where she usually falls asleep).

While Daisy has come leaps & bounds since being with us, she still prefers affection on her terms & will let you know when she is ready, as well as when she's had enough. As Daisy is still on her "learning to trust humans" journey, we are recommending a home with no children.

Daisy will need a patient owner who is willing to work with her while she continues her socialisation and someone who understands & respects her boundaries.

When Daisy first came to us she had no interest in toys, however now she enjoys playing with crinkle balls, springs & wand toys.

Sweet Daisy can be a little picky with her food, but she has definitely found her favourites in beef gravy mixes and has recently found a love for several treats which she adores.

Since being at the facility we have found that Daisy doesn't enjoy the company of other cats and we believe she would be best suited to being the only animal at home.

Daisy will be rehomed to a family who will keep her as an inside cat only.

Daisy is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.

If you think you could be that furever family for Daisy, please contact our friendly staff via email at [email protected] or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.

Her adoption fee includes her desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. She is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.

Daisy is currently located in East Maitland.

So, Dee had a sudden last minute thought of Friday Sangas so we finished today with a spur of the moment, Devon and Cheese Sandwiches .. I (Janien) said Friday Food, but Dee fancied it up, so welcome to 'Friday Feast'.

Our dogs, Diesel, Mia, Oska, Suzie and Bruce enjoyed them.

Sorry we didn't feed our Border Collie x or Chihuahua x pups the sangas, but never fear they did get their normal food....and you will see them on Sunday I am sure.

Also, had a little visit with a couple of our cats lovely Daisy, who featured in my YouTube Short the other day and our new girl Nina, fresh from a full grooming session.

If you are interested in our 2 new adoptables, reach out to us via email '[email protected]' for Oska who is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or Nina who is a Ragdoll.

I hope you enjoyed our one video for Wednesday/Thursday Treats, unfortunately it just is too hard for us during the week to get this type of video going as much as we might want to. The week days are just go go go with never a break. But every now and then we might just suprise you ... like today.

As always thank you for your support it means the world to us.

I hope you enjoy our 'Friday Fiesta'

Much Love
