We're very excited to announce that Mojo has been adopted by Kevin!

Now I know what you're thinking... Wasn't Mojo already adopted?! Yes he was. Sadly his first adopter had a huge change in his work life which meant he'd be away from home for 2 weeks at a time and he had no one to watch his sweet boy when he was away.

As we had so much interest in Mojo when we first listed him, we were able to contact Kevin who was still incredibly interested in meeting him and it was love at first sight.. the rest (as they say) is history!

Happy gotcha day cutie!

Happy Sunday everyone and welcome to Sunday Sangas!

We've all been feeling a bit run down this week, so we've gone nice and simple with peanut butter & doughnuts for dessert.. **spoiler alert**.. the doughnuts were a hit.

We hope you enjoy the chaos of watching Chong, Cash, Rex (Rex-asaurus), Narla, Patch, Bailey, Bugle, Shelby, Zoey, Birdie, Chapo and Seger enjoying their Sunday feast!

Narla, Zoey, Chapo, Birdie, Seger, Bugle and Bailey are all available for adoption. If you're interested in meeting any of these babes, please contact CCACF on 0499 900272 or email [email protected]

🐾Adoption Update🐾

At the end of last month, Melanie sent through an update on her handsome boy;

"Pumbaa's 7th adoption day!!
We got a sausage roll and some puppucinos to celebrate and went for a romp and chomp in the grass with his bestie Tyson.
In 2018 I brought this incredibly timid boy home. He now loves anyone who will pat him (including kids). He's still quirky and irrationally terrified of random things, but lives for car rides, treats, pats and exploring 💜"

Happy gotcha day handsome.. and happy gotcha day to the rest of his family who came in from the same household; Baby, Vinnie & Hector! I can't believe it's been 7 years already!

It has been a hot minute since we've been able to have play time up in the yard, and who better to start with than the stunning Beagle boys Bugle & Bailey!

These boys were brought in together as strays and sadly no one came looking for them. It was very clear very quickly that these two were completely in love with each other and needed to be a bonded pair.

We've estimated Bugle to be approx 6yrs old and Bailey to be approx 4.5yrs old.

As you can see, these boys are fluent in following their noses, but we've discovered Bailey loves tennis balls!

We hope you enjoy watching them stretch their legs, explore the yard and "claiming ownership" of all the trees/shrubs they come in contact with.

If you're interested in meeting these gorgeous kids, please contact CCACF on 0499 900272 or email [email protected]

They are located in East Maitland, NSW.

**Transferred to Monika's Doggy Rescue**

Introducing Bugle & Bailey!

Bugle is a Beagle x born approx 4th September 2019.
Bailey is a Beagle x born approx 4th March 2021.

Bailey & Bugle were brought into the facility as unmicrochipped strays & sadly no one came to collect them. This is very surprising to us as they are both in quite good condition and clearly love not only each other, but everyone they meet.

Since being at the facility they have been incredibly affectionate boys who love all the attention you can give them. They will stand on their back legs to try to be within kissing distance, but be warned.. Bailey has perfected his "wet w***y" technique so your ears will get slobbery! We believe they would be suitable to live with children, but they may accidentally knock young/little ones over when they do their excited wiggle & dance.

Both boys consider themselves to be lap dogs, so please ensure adequate lounge space is available before applying for their adoption.

While they both know how to sit on command, they are typical Beagles who lose interest quickly to follow their noses, so treats may be needed when using commands.

Both boys tested fairly well with other dogs. Neither were overly interested in interacting with others, but there were no signs of aggression seen. If you have another dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home.

Both Bailey & Bugle were absolutely terrified when our resident cat slapped them across the face and they both ran away as quickly as possible. We feel that they could be suitable to live with a dog friendly cat, if given a slow & controlled introduction to them.

Unfortunately both boys show signs of prey drive towards pocket pets, so we are recommending a home with no small animals like chickens & rabbits.

Bailey & Bugel show no signs of separation anxiety, as long as they're kept together.

We have seen no signs of food aggression towards each other or humans.

Their adoption fee includes their desexing & lifetime registration.

They are also regularly treated for flea and worms and are up to date with their vaccinations.

To enquire more or to meet Bugel & Bailey, please call 0499 900 272 or email [email protected] and speak to one of our friendly staff.

Bailey & Bugel are located in East Maitland.

Our Story

We are a dedicated team of animal lovers, desperate to secure loving homes for animals that deserve a second chance at life. We work closely with other pounds near and far to ensure as many re-homable* animals as possible can be saved. We are a no kill facility who also currently house the Central coast Pound.

Our director Dee, started in animal rescue in 2013 and is a keen advocate for responsible pet ownership, surrounded by an equally devoted team and group of volunteers, who go to extraordinary lengths to ensure all animals go to the right home. Working alongside local businesses spanning the entire Central Coast region, it is our goal to have all animals chipped and identified, while educating pet owners of the responsibility of pet ownership, unwanted litters and timely vet intervention.

100% of donations go directly towards the care of animals housed at the facility as well as transportation of animals at high kill shelters. The transport costs and unforeseen vet bills do account for many expenses and without the help of volunteers we would be unable to save as many animals as we currently do. We look forward to expanding to rescue many more animals who through no fault of their own have found themselves alone, unloved and some with only weeks to live.
