🌞First day of summer! 🐶🌴🐱
Not too hot today but the temperature will be rising by the end of the week. Make sure your pets always have access to water and shade. Put out an extra water bowl in case they knock one over. Go for walks on the cooler part of the day to avoid over heating. Ice blocks with some kibble, like this one in the photo, is one way to cool your pup.

As the weather warms up and humidity increases, ticks are becoming more abundant, and we are seeing a surge in cases. Fortunately, we offer a range of prevention options, including chewable tablets, spot-on, and a convenient yearly flea and tick injection for dogs. Please check your dog and cat daily for ticks, especially during spring and summer, even if on a preventative as they are not 100% effective.
