G’day. Three of our boys, Dustin, Whip and Ledger are under the care of the this amazing crew of individuals volunteering their resources, expertise and time without question and working tirelessly 24/7. Another of our boys, Hamish, is at Grafton with the team at Equine Veterinary & Dental Services Pty. Ltd. (EVDS). With so much human suffering and financial devastation for the people of the Northern Rivers, it’s a big ask for donations but I’m going to humbly ask for your support of even a dollar or two……

The volunteers of Bangalow Temporary Equine Hospital are working tirelessly providing veterinary care and round the clock services to these flood affected horses and livestock that needed a place out of the wet so the vets can provide high care.

We need help to support the horses in care with feed, bedding, fuel, Transport and medical supplies to keep this running.

Alternatively, you can phone Newrybar Produce to put money our account to help pay for bedding and feed.

Any left over funds we will be donated to Oliver Liyou from Equine Veterinary & Dental Services.
His fund raiser will go directly to paying the vets, livestock owners, landholders, medical supplies, fodder, transport and fuel.

The tireless, professional and expert care our horses, all 26 of them, that has been provided by Kita from Richmond River Equine Veterinary Services and Immy with calm, precision and a smile is a comfort beyond the meaning of that word. And our 26 are but a few of the hundreds upon hundreds….. blessed, indebted, humbled yet again.

G’day!! Overwhelmed with offers of everything from so many hundreds of people. We humbly thank you. Our horses are all stable and are on 100 acres with grass, natural water and we are administering medication daily. Our situation is the best it could be.

Coraki and Woodburn situation is still extremely dire. Can I please ask the wonderful strangers who have contacted me offering agistment to please get in touch again and I will forward your details to the coordinator helping if that agistment is still available.

I would also like to personally acknowledge the individual behind the scenes who has worked tirelessly and determinably for the last 168 hours assisting in our rescue and organising everything like a military operation. As well as helping us, Jo has been assisting people all over the Northern Rivers from her home in QLD, whilst taking care of her own dogs and horses and rescue horses from the QLD situation.
